I hear Costco and Trader Joe's carries them but I have neither where I am, so I ordered mine off Amazon.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">After experimenting a couple of days, I came up with this recipe and decided to share it. I make individual servings so they are grab and go in the morning. The dollar store sells plastic serving bowls. Three to four in a package depending on which brand for one whole dollar. I bought a couple packs. You can use pint size mason jars as well.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br /></span>

<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Individual servings:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">1/2 cup of oats </span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">1 cup of unsweetened Almond Milk</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">1 tsp honey</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">1/4 tsp vanilla</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Chopped Fresh fruit of choice 1/4 to 1/2 cup</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Place oatmeal & chia seeds in a plastic single serving bowl make sure it has a lid.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Add all the liquids to an one cup measuring cup and stir very well. Pour it in the bowl, throw in fruit and place lid on securely and shake it good. Place them in the fridge overnight and they will be ready in the morning. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I make 4 at a time for 2 days. I eat one for breakfast and one at night for a snack. They are good for up to 3 days in the fridge.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I have 1 cherry, 1 grape and 2 nectarine chia oatmeals in the fridge that I made a short time ago. I polished off the last blueberry Chia oatmeal this morning.</span><br />

Total cost: $1.00. I sewed a button on the side and crocheted several flowers.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfYkuzqhjsAcQfi-F8GNq2SHgYFypnikG9yt_R3ukrNoMCVs3TFi5IAobhBbZBJU6nlS8eB_H2p85gtwfW-p3mKFmDUcIn1xjfNV6MDjFAn3MHXkK6QHNStNKo0CJHgBhFqPsSil5NO6I/s1600/hat+021.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfYkuzqhjsAcQfi-F8GNq2SHgYFypnikG9yt_R3ukrNoMCVs3TFi5IAobhBbZBJU6nlS8eB_H2p85gtwfW-p3mKFmDUcIn1xjfNV6MDjFAn3MHXkK6QHNStNKo0CJHgBhFqPsSil5NO6I/s320/hat+021.jpg" width="240" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">This is my pattern for the flowers.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Chain 6 and slip stitch the ends together.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">SC x12 into the ring.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Row 2: SCx1 then SCx2 in the next stitch, then SCx1, then SCx2 into same stitch. Repeat all the way around and slip stitch at end.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Row 3:chain 2, dcx2, treble stitch x1, dc x2 all into the same stitch, slip stitch next stitch, then slip stitch the next, chain 2, dcx2, treble stitch x1, dc x2 all into the same stitch, slip stitch next stitch, then slip stitch the next, repeat all the way around. Weave ends and that is it! Slip the flower over the button on the hat and you have an adorable hat. I made several flowers to change it up. You can stack them as well. This is the pattern for the solid yellow and pink flower. I played around and added another row with a different color on the other flowers but didn't write the pattern down.</span><br />

I made a Pinterest account and headed to youtube. I pinned all the different crocheting instruction videos on Pinterest. I would like to say thank you to all the people that have put videos on youtube that teach the basic stitches of crocheting! You guys ROCK! I am living proof they work. Here are a couple things I have made over the past couple of months.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0VXf2hUo74o2_qsW-txJurPC8oG4bmnnjQK4BxN9qKYSlL-csxV8CRei2d4egtL8_H4_FIM8p4Yyq-equpvMrFZNVtfhiZ2paZKVy12p_njPuMMHQyCv2Z4dV8oaTpW3IJ8yyDtnYuso/s1600/crochet.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0VXf2hUo74o2_qsW-txJurPC8oG4bmnnjQK4BxN9qKYSlL-csxV8CRei2d4egtL8_H4_FIM8p4Yyq-equpvMrFZNVtfhiZ2paZKVy12p_njPuMMHQyCv2Z4dV8oaTpW3IJ8yyDtnYuso/s320/crochet.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
These are baby shoes with a matching headband. Now I need a grandchild! LOL!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I decided to try a couple recipes for homemade dog bone treats. After making a couple different recipes I came up with my own recipe based on the bones Andie liked best.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimKplzGWaQhJusD4_wclvvQBFZGb8eIDvVqnWFnGKNfXXgydpwudmkQ9FaciU44qq12PHAfm1OA_Hqpub_izESJStCHqLLKWkeiY60TT3l9wzNiQKi27i5veHeC8A1aLy8k6ojq9u7pL4/s1600/gog" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="247" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimKplzGWaQhJusD4_wclvvQBFZGb8eIDvVqnWFnGKNfXXgydpwudmkQ9FaciU44qq12PHAfm1OA_Hqpub_izESJStCHqLLKWkeiY60TT3l9wzNiQKi27i5veHeC8A1aLy8k6ojq9u7pL4/s400/gog" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
Ingredients:</div>
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
1/4 cup Peanut Butter</div>
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
1 Egg</div>
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
1 tbsp Parsley</div>
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
1/4 cup Beef Broth</div>
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
1/4 cup Oats</div>
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
1 cup Wheat or Rice Flour</div>
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
Blend Peanut Butter, egg and parsley and then toss in the oats. Add flour and mix. The dough should not be sticky. Fairly dry but wet enough to stick together. Roll it out and cut out your bones or flowers depending on your cookie cutter choice.</div>
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Take out the bones and flip them over and bake for another 15 minutes. Total bake time is 30 minutes.</div>
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
Let them cool and the dog drooling will commence! My dog LOVES these bones! They are easy to make and your dog will think you are the best pet parent in the world!</div>

<span style="font-size: large;">My hunny brought in a table stand and asked me if I wanted it... OF COURSE I DID! We had recently bought a new oven and it came enclosed in wood... This is the stand and piece of wood I created from the oven wood...</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8hUerUwcWKae_pyu3NlfyFzD5qBb5XirdEMT3oX-MaeS31ZQ8O9flq-NIRVOeflJg5eJ-PggRfLd9vLpqCc8P4BZ_c17VtC08_A8E3Y9V8_4D2lUZvGOjX5hXhgksd9nX2QVQgcMnuEc/s1600/mosaic.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="270" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8hUerUwcWKae_pyu3NlfyFzD5qBb5XirdEMT3oX-MaeS31ZQ8O9flq-NIRVOeflJg5eJ-PggRfLd9vLpqCc8P4BZ_c17VtC08_A8E3Y9V8_4D2lUZvGOjX5hXhgksd9nX2QVQgcMnuEc/s400/mosaic.JPG" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">I filled in the holes on the wood with extra wood I had lying around. I sanded the stand and painted it as well as the wood table top. I sealed the wood.... Very important step to do! I attached the top to the stand with screws and bolts. I dug out some cobalt blue tiles I had for years to use them. I cemented them in with grout. The center square I used half sphere, sparkly, glass stones I had bought at the Dollar Tree. They were cemented in at the same time the cobalt tiles were. I grouted and this is what I ended up with for less than $3....</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">It fits in nicely with my other pieces I have made... Now to finish my potting table made from pallets...</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">So I had this piece left over from making my patio table..</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqaVNlVJWseqxX2h_1tWyByXUr-a4rXb-mWhU6whKG5TYmhKUOPjoBJ6Cc3IdW_qAzSAhdb10PfoFMfEBVI2EnrtVw4ZLK8zYl_fP7dLXf_Y2I1HthuXoJgvCKFpJBU5YWLI0Ut3dZELQ/s1600/apal.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="141" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqaVNlVJWseqxX2h_1tWyByXUr-a4rXb-mWhU6whKG5TYmhKUOPjoBJ6Cc3IdW_qAzSAhdb10PfoFMfEBVI2EnrtVw4ZLK8zYl_fP7dLXf_Y2I1HthuXoJgvCKFpJBU5YWLI0Ut3dZELQ/s400/apal.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">I removed the four pieces of board sticking down to use for legs.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">I then cut a piece three boards wide from another pallet and attached the legs. I painted and sealed my plant table and this is what I ended up with..</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJMDy4Al4YEzl2yBvyyljwl4i-QopmrFwrApnI531WlvDYrkwrdQ6WiQsbKlGHT48Y31n4KeTgoQBA_CRxI0_evNjddHIL2ws0B-GFvlbS3iefjFtmb2rU32AjO5ifsdU43S5BWLagqW4/s1600/CIMG3213.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJMDy4Al4YEzl2yBvyyljwl4i-QopmrFwrApnI531WlvDYrkwrdQ6WiQsbKlGHT48Y31n4KeTgoQBA_CRxI0_evNjddHIL2ws0B-GFvlbS3iefjFtmb2rU32AjO5ifsdU43S5BWLagqW4/s400/CIMG3213.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">It is small but looks quite lovely on the patio and I don't have to bend so far to work on my plants.</span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Ingredients:</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">2 cups of fresh strawberries</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">1/4 cup sugar</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">1/4 cup amaretto</span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9tVj8ULgrdOEvg7-EuMB5TIs38L5R9YeJUhJbnS2i2fnCk0sK5AKGqkJbM9YSDfaCCKW96LrxqLeF35DdRIWuj29UBM8nuVBc4aYEU5L_gWf481ZscswALT7WfSPJRYn9nmWkeKNkmlg/s1600/CIMG3146.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="301" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9tVj8ULgrdOEvg7-EuMB5TIs38L5R9YeJUhJbnS2i2fnCk0sK5AKGqkJbM9YSDfaCCKW96LrxqLeF35DdRIWuj29UBM8nuVBc4aYEU5L_gWf481ZscswALT7WfSPJRYn9nmWkeKNkmlg/s400/CIMG3146.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Wash the strawberries then slice them. Place the strawberries in a bowl and add the sugar and Amaretto. Stir gently. Place plastic wrap over the bowl and place in fridge for 1 hour minimal. The sugar will draw out the strawberry juice and the flavors marinate together. These are the best strawberries! Place it on ice cream, use in a strawberry shortcake recipe or other recipes that call for strawberries.</span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLXNdRF6nZjYnL7VBS1tAXEu4PXVOZSkn12QURnu1NeqYqrPRCnbbrM0HQ-4X57rjw9_08r44ek_4a-FokbiGDakVUHlxVsJCr9hnLG2tsQBjh9b36opkmznguUoCxnqi46J5J1TrmBuA/s1600/CIMG3149.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLXNdRF6nZjYnL7VBS1tAXEu4PXVOZSkn12QURnu1NeqYqrPRCnbbrM0HQ-4X57rjw9_08r44ek_4a-FokbiGDakVUHlxVsJCr9hnLG2tsQBjh9b36opkmznguUoCxnqi46J5J1TrmBuA/s320/CIMG3149.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">These strawberries will add another dimension of flavor. Enjoy! </span></span>Shassyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07606677251175417462noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271777213748724803.post-34468891298788189762012-06-06T13:18:00.003-07:002012-06-06T13:20:16.544-07:00I Made This for My Sisters<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: x-large;">I miss my sisters...</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">I picked up a huge zucchini this weekend at the Farmer's Market and I mean HUGE! After thinking on it a bit, I decided to make a Zucchini with chicken Parmesan. </span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">I started with a homemade red sauce.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Ingredients for red sauce:</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">1 can of 28 oz plum tomatoes</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">1/8 cup of olive oil</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Pinch of kosher salt</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">2 small chopped sweet onions </span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">3 cloves of chopped garlic</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">1 tsp sugar</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Heat the olive of in a pan. </span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Once hot, add the onions, garlic, crushed pepper flakes and salt. Cook for about 7 minutes until the onions are translucent then add the can of tomatoes and the sugar. I broke up my tomatoes with a potato smasher but a spoon will do as well. Let this simmer for a good 30 minutes.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiho-OlnRCFYdiqNQlzFiPlXZh2VsbkCjQeyaQzhyphenhyphenEBsatMqrx_QjwIm9qZP3XArmGOWURvPGuriegkY7vyuRJ7UUlwTfhZ5Cdtv_rMvuHPJ1YHknnr7bCvumC1iURknR2NREIcBNonSYQ/s1600/CIMG3082.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="209" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiho-OlnRCFYdiqNQlzFiPlXZh2VsbkCjQeyaQzhyphenhyphenEBsatMqrx_QjwIm9qZP3XArmGOWURvPGuriegkY7vyuRJ7UUlwTfhZ5Cdtv_rMvuHPJ1YHknnr7bCvumC1iURknR2NREIcBNonSYQ/s320/CIMG3082.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Next I rounded up my supplies to fry my zucchini:</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Zucchini </span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">1 cup AP flour</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">1 cup Crushed Italian bread crumbs</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">4 eggs</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">2 tsp heavy cream or milk</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Salt</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Pepper</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Vegetable oil </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Slice your Zucchini 1/4 to 1/2 thick, your preference. Place the flour in a bowl, the bread crumbs in another bowl and put the eggs, cream, salt and pepper in another one. Whip the egg mixture lightly.</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"> I made an assembly line. Flour, eggs, bread crumbs and then a cookie sheet to lay them on. Dredge the zucchini slices in the flour, shake off excess, then dip them in the egg mixture and follow that with a roll in the bread crumbs. Place them on the cookie sheet.</span></span> <span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Put about a 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a frying pan, let it heat up then fry the Zucchini slices. When you take them out, place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain the excess oil.</span></span><br />
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Ingredients for chicken burger:</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">2 chicken breast</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Pinch of salt</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Pinch of pepper</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Pinch of Italian seasoning</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Next I took two chicken breast and ground them up in my Food Processor. I added a pinch of Italian seasoning, salt and pepper and browned the meat in a pan.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Preheat oven to 350 degrees at this time. </span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Ingredients for Parmesan:</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Red tomato sauce</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Fried Zucchini slices</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Crumbled chicken</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">1 cup of mozzarella cheese</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Several slices of Provolone cheese</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese </span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">1 cup torn fresh Basil</span></span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">I used a 8X8 pan. I laid down the red sauce first, then a layer of basil, then the zucchini slices, followed by the crumbled chicken, then slices of Provolone cheese, followed by the Parmesan cheese and finally the Mozzarella cheese. Rinse and repeat until the pan is full. I did 2 full layers and my pan was full. Toss it into the preheated oven.</span></div>

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Bake for 30 minutes and remove. Let it rest for about 5 minutes because it is HOT! Serve with bread, a salad and ENJOY!</span></div>

YUM!<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">I had an urge for Jason's Deli tomato basil soup but sadly, I have recently moved and the nearest one is 2 hours away. I looked at a couple different recipes and each had something different so I tossed them aside and decided to do my own thing. I AM SO HAPPY I DID!</span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;">I am always looking for helpful hints for around the house. I am trying to move to a greener lifestyle. I have cut out margarine completely and have gone back to good old fashioned non-salted butter. Who wants to eat an item that is one ingredient away from plastic? Not I, besides I love me some butter! </span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Getting back to the point I read about keeping green onions or scallions on your counter, so you had fresh green onions at all times. </span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Items needed:</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">A bundle of green onions with roots attached</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">a glass jar... I love mason jars</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">water</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">scissors</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7SDPuVnlIzU0ST9FKP6po2GXRrkd9PUJrK-V3UlK5jtqIyGV-b8Gul6v7EBOUZrccWmqlKG68y7ZCqeks9RTXWnyF8RtGIKulewljcsa8XSqwZfS_tfVcznTO48K6_dfWAzvxfgSUO7Q/s1600/CIMG3012.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7SDPuVnlIzU0ST9FKP6po2GXRrkd9PUJrK-V3UlK5jtqIyGV-b8Gul6v7EBOUZrccWmqlKG68y7ZCqeks9RTXWnyF8RtGIKulewljcsa8XSqwZfS_tfVcznTO48K6_dfWAzvxfgSUO7Q/s320/CIMG3012.JPG" width="240" /></a></span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I </span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">added water to the jar, then put the onions into it. </span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">I cut the green tops off to the top of the jar. I put the green onions into a freezer bag and tossed them in the freezer. I will use them when I need a big portion.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Leave them to grow. I swear I walk out of my kitchen and come back 10 minutes later and a couple have grown 2 inches. I snip the onions as I need them. My onions are assorted sizes. In fact a couple need to be snipped and used.</span>Shassyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07606677251175417462noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271777213748724803.post-39987645927602094842012-06-01T11:37:00.002-07:002012-06-01T11:37:30.166-07:00KITTY LOVE<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">

Kids will love these<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Last night my sweet tooth was biting me hard so I headed into the kitchen to make something to soothe it</span>. <span style="font-size: large;">HHHHMMMM.... Don't ask me why but pizza and chocolate were weighing heavily on my mind. I decided to combine the two and create a pizza with chocolate. </span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">List of ingredients:</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Canned biscuits</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoAcsz7j60ZYFvevnVloijP2UWNvgfTtD9nyf99n9SJLYiyUqxvcPgFUXT1TOxfZ_iwAiXRkWj9_oQRb_-9ZhrZtd0XejdhqIZr5Xy5fdYpeGN7uveYNqnZVBcTKqhAnHj6W0yu-STYMc/s1600/CIMG3000.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoAcsz7j60ZYFvevnVloijP2UWNvgfTtD9nyf99n9SJLYiyUqxvcPgFUXT1TOxfZ_iwAiXRkWj9_oQRb_-9ZhrZtd0XejdhqIZr5Xy5fdYpeGN7uveYNqnZVBcTKqhAnHj6W0yu-STYMc/s320/CIMG3000.JPG" width="283" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Chocolate chips</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Marshmallows </span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Granola cereal</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">NUTELLA</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Chopped Pecans</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Optional: get creative</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Frozen cookie dough for crust</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Different type nuts</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">M&M's</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Coconut</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Dried or fresh fruit</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Jelly or jam</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Caramel</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Crushed graham crackers</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Cinnamon or nutmeg</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">And so on...</span></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Step one: Open the canned biscuits and separate them. Use a rolling pin and roll them VERY thin. Then roll the edges slightly inward to form a rim around the pizza. I used canned biscuits because I was lazy and didn't want to make pizza dough and wait on it to rest. </span><br />

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Step two: I added a sauce of sorts... NUTELLA!!! </span><span style="font-size: large;">My hunny used crushed Granola cereal. </span><span style="font-size: large;">You can use crushed Graham crackers if you want to go the Smores route. I then added chocolate chips, pecans, and placed the marshmallows on last.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Step three: Bake per the canned biscuit's instructions. I had to add about 4 minutes to mine to make up for the additional ingredients.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEga0q7rXEc160J3TWhBg5-fmmvss5yzQhNLgiMvUDYx-u5170zrZvOjJ5vHFteCukvjyfo07uzOmuUvVghbgTHCTDcz8vLWFDeMji1iRp8Vll0fwLY3oyNpuMmaOM6p5uJ8Ryi1ELDpvn8/s1600/pizza.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEga0q7rXEc160J3TWhBg5-fmmvss5yzQhNLgiMvUDYx-u5170zrZvOjJ5vHFteCukvjyfo07uzOmuUvVghbgTHCTDcz8vLWFDeMji1iRp8Vll0fwLY3oyNpuMmaOM6p5uJ8Ryi1ELDpvn8/s1600/pizza.jpg" /></a></div>

This site is awesome and helped me tremendously.</span></span></span></span></span></span><br />
<span style="color: #674ea7;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="http://crochet.about.com/od/learntocrochet/tp/crochet-for-beginners.htm">http://crochet.about.com/od/learntocrochet/tp/crochet-for-beginners.htm</a></span></span></span></span></span></span><br />
<span style="color: #674ea7;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"> After watching a video, I practiced a chain stitch and a single crochet stitch. I was ready to make SOMETHING!! So there was a pattern for fingerless gloves. They sounded pretty sweet. After about a hour of attempting to read the secret language of crocheting I grew frustrated and thought screw it, I will make my own pattern. I do that at times. So here we go. </span></span></span></span></span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: #674ea7;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Fingerless gloves pattern:</span></span></span></span></span></span><br />
<span style="color: #674ea7;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">25-35 chain stitches for the first row... adjust for the size of your arm. Leave about 12" of yarn at the beginning knot for stitching the sides together at the end.</span></span></span></span></span></span><br />
<span style="color: #674ea7;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">17- 25 rows of single crochet stitch... depends on the length you want them.</span></span></span></span></span></span><br />
<span style="color: #674ea7;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Last step is to put the two ends together. Using the yarn you saved earlier, weave the ends together. Make sure you leave an opening for the thumb. Turn to the right side and there you go a fingerless glove. Repeat for a matching set. </span></span></span></span></span></span><span style="color: #674ea7;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I decorated mine with buttons and ribbons.
